Príncipe x Brikabrak

Príncipe is a record label based in Lisbon that focuses on the production of contemporary dance music from the city, suburbs, projects and slums. It also strives to explore new sounds, forms and structures, each with its own poetics and cultural identity. For Nuits sonores & European Lab Brussels, the label teams up with the Brikabrak collective, a key player in Belgian nightlife since 2017, for an event that celebrates bass-heavy sounds, but also batida, afrohouse and amapiano — aesthetics born of synergies between electronic music and African musical heritages.

DJ G2G is a Danish/Uruguayan non-binary/queer artist, producer & DJ. Through their energetic, playful, fun and experimental approach to mixing genres while referencing popular internet-culture, They have created their own characteristic signature.

Having graduated from The Danish Rhythmic Music Conservatory in Electronic Composition along with touring across the world DJ'ing, this has laid the foundation from which DJ G2G produces and creates music that focuses on genre-bending sounds with hybrids of many origins as opposed to being bound by the rules/traditions of one.

DJ G2G’s sets attest to both the Uruguayan and Danish sides of their heritage, intricately splicing together modern Latin club sounds like perreo, cumbia, and guaracha with the deep dance music traditions found in Europe. Through their keen ear, G2G is able to effortlessly weave sets together, while retaining the wonderment and freedom that brought them to dance music in the first place. This fun spirit has brought DJ G2G to dancefloors all over the world, from Barcelona’s Razzmatazz to Taipei’s FINAL.

In DJ G2G’s productions, they have collaborated with artists such as Erika De Casier, Smerz, Jõao Lágrima de Ouro and Schacke among others. Latest DJ G2G has expanded their practice by making soundtracks for documentaries and fashion shows, having just shared their work in Dion Lee SS23 campaign film, the music for the WOOD WOOD FW23 runway show, and an extensive soundscape for Alectra Rothschild FW23 Runway film both during Copenhagen Fashion Week.

Europa is an artist who works in sound, video and physical installation. Music is his primary medium.

His tracks surge upward and ahead, from the fluid mechanics of his club bulldozers to the weightless expansiveness of his ambient cloudscapes. Europa’s soundworks are composed almost exclusively while in transit — on buses, trains, planes — imbuing them with the mission-focused intensity of life lived without a rearview.

Europa’s music is borderless, extracting the essence of styles and genres to warp and mould them in his image. His work assimilates pop, ambient, club music and beyond into hyperkinetic songs that pulse with precision-engineered life, meshing and melding feelings across the emotional spectrum to arrive at music both blissful and blistering.

Fresh on the scene but already out-of-this-world, Bugasmurf’s on a mission crankin’ up the meters and makin’ ears pop! With his much-requested unique next-EDM style, you’re in for a smurfing good time! Watch out for the drop!

✦ Lulu ✦

Lulu is a DJ with an untamed sound. Jumping back and forth from moody vocals to dub-heavy rhythms and dark electronic bass, listening to her sets is a body-stimulating experience. Lulu was resident at the memorable festival Strange Sounds From Beyond. Currently she is a resident at Amsterdam’s Garage Noord and she executes spher.o.visceral on LYL Radio, a show wherein she explores the four elements through sound.

ϰ Wanton Witch
Born in an isolated community of Borneo Island, Wanton Witch is a DJ and producer with a hyper-sensitive connection and approach to sound through performance. Coming of age in the relative isolation of island life, it wasn't until relocating to Bangkok that she was able to access the different communities of musical genres that she would later travel between.
With an early taste for trap and hip hop, she began working in the deconstructed club and techno scene where she found her musical voice, beginning her DJ career in 2018. Wanton is also a cofounder and original member of Queer underground creative collective 'Non Non Non' that has become a Bangkok nightlife staple. Last year, she released her debut album on Stroboscopic Artefacts, which we found amazing!

Special Guest DJ is 3XL’s high fidelity cowboy, allround lover of drum ’n’ bass, cyberdub and thiccbient. He has an amazing catalogue under the belt released under a variety of names such as uon, DJ paradise, xphresh w/ Ben Bondy, hoodie w/ Naemi, sofa w/ Ulla, cypher & thru on Appendix.Files, Critical Amnesia & Ghostride The Drift on xpq? Often floating between bushy dubbed out internet-ambient and wavy breaks, we’re super eager to have him over for a set, as we’re super fond of all of the tantalising amount of different aliases!

Zurich-based producer XV06-y has been making post-deconstructed pre-club weirdness that we’ve been digging for a while now. Hell engineer in self-study, they specialize in post-industrial and abstract, futuristic sound design. After meeting them on a festival in Switzerland, we kept in contact and are very very happy to have XV06-y over for a set!

Brussels’ hidden gem Karl Wille makes deconstructed pop with a strong edge. Karl produces anything between dadrock hits ready for Studio Brussel, 1h edits of Lil Yachty songs and the softest of ballads for loved ones. Releasing soon on one of our favourite labels, this local icon is someone to keep an eye on. His liveshows convey an amazing energy, which we’re super super happy to host and amplify!

Ukraine-born and now Brussels-based Slovva makes amazingly eclectic DJ-sets, playing anything between electro-acoustics and bass. With a strong ear for the experimental, she has already proved her worth with her involvement in radio80000 in Munich.

V23 kicks off clubbing season ’23 with its third edition of Trancegression.
